These special interest groups have been successful in manipulating local, state and federal laws and rules to lower the value of our animals. This movement did not start overnight but has been building for years, while we worked hard in our aviaries, kennels, barns, farms and zoos. They have pestered lawmakers into provisions that slowly cut away at the very value of our animals and will ultimately obliterate animal ownership. It is time to protect our animals and take back the debate in the marble palaces that we call government in America.
Whether you are an animal breeder, trainer, handler and or owner, you own one animal or you manage thousands for food, by product, genetics or pleasure it is time we all came together and learned how to fight legislation not only locally but nationally.
